The CBC Searchlight competition has begun for 2020, and once again we’ve entered ourselves in CBC’s search for great Canadian talent. We think we’re the GREATEST of all Canadian talent, so we submitted our video for “Under The Thunder” of Nick flying around with Gus the puppet. Trust me, when it comes to talent competitions, puppet videos kill. Anyway, we need your votes to rock this thing, so head over to the CBC Searchlight page right now, search up Fool’s Union and VOTE! “I’m Givin” is the follow up to 2019’s “Under The Thunder”, and is the fifth single of five. When we first launched this band, we promised five standalone singles of pure rock awesomeness and we delivered goddammit! We’re proud of ourselves and we’re proud of YOU!
This past Friday, we entered the studio at RHC Music in Toronto to officially begin recording our new album. We’ve spent most of this year writing and working on new tunes, so it was beyond cool to finally press the record button and start putting these to tape. We’re hoping these new tunes will knock your socks off. Only time will tell! Big thanks to Ross and Emily for making the songs sound so magical.
In the meantime, we still have one more single to release of the batch we’ve been putting out over the last little while. You’ve heard “Break Through”, “Safety Deposit Box”, “Live Action”, and “Under The Thunder”. Well, get ready for the pure rock swagger of “I’m Givin”!
